Halton Children’s Trust was established in 2008 and is a partnership of public and voluntary sector organisations working together to meet the needs of children and families. The partnership exists to improve outcomes for all children, young people and their families in Halton.  We believe that this can be done more effectively by all agencies and organisations working together.

Halton Children’s Trust Board is a multi-agency Strategic Partnership that oversees strategic work and delivery of the Trust’s agreed priorities.

To achieve our aims, Halton Children’s Trust partners work in a co-ordinated way. Our Halton Children and Young People Plan makes this possible. We have identified 3 priority outcomes which we aim to achieve through joint planning and working together. These are:

  • Early Help & Support.
  • Integrated Commissioning.
  • Closing the gap.

We are currently developing our new Children, Young People and Families Plan (CYPFP) which will soon be available, this identifies our key priorities going forward. This website will provide you with links to information and useful resources.  We welcome any suggestions about any additions to the website.
